Through the 78 years of history that the club fulfilled this April 30, there are real jewels for all tastes, but here we choose five of these goals – including Cardona – who left a nice memory.
These goals were marked by Yerson Candelo, Argentine Hugo Morales, Luis Alfonso “Blessed” Fajardo and Albeiro “Palomo” Usuriaga.
One was to define a league title, another in a classic against America, also one against Medellín and one more in a Copa Libertadores.
The goal that was worth classification and leadership
Edwin Cardona’s goal from the middle of the court, on April 29, sealed the final 3-0 and gave National the anticipated classification to the home run and the leadership of the League.
Candelo’s goal in the end of 2022

Albeiro ‘Palomo’ Usuriaga scored four goals to the Uruguayan Danube in the 1989 Copa Libertadores, and one of them was almost from the midfield, hitting him without letting the ball fall.
