RUUD conquers his first 1000 Masters in Madrid
The Norwegian lifts the biggest title of his career in the Magic Box

Casper Ruud conquered the most important title of his career, taking the land of Mutua Madrid Open with a demonstration of power. The Norwegian gathered in the capital of Spain a collection of merits that returned to the first line: he recalled his authority on whipped land, guaranteed his return to the world top 10 and introduced for the first time an ATP Masters 1000 Cup in the showcase, taking an important step forward. If the great calendar trophies were a pending account, the Magic Fund closed the Scandinavian wound.
The Oslo had to resist a storm of unpredictable blows, crossing the strength of Jack Draper 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 to get on the podium of Madrid. The British ball, punished in each game from the background, was a challenge for Ruud’s legs, one of the players with the highest work capacity of the costumes. In a moment of professional splendor, the British will join Rafael Nadal as the only left -hander capable of reaching the world top in this century. In addition, Draper is placed as No. 2 of the PIF ATP Live Race to Turin, only behind No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the classification that determines the way to the Nitto ATP finish at the close of the season.
Now, after signing a fabulous performance in the Magic Fund, both players will set up to the internal Bnl d’Italia to play in Rome another classic event in the European season of whipped earth.
