Pedrola has been today the protagonist of international cycling as a starting point of the fourth stage of the Cycling Tour of Women’s Spain 2025.
The Pedrola sports complex has been the exit point of a half mountain day that travels 111 kilometers to Borja, through enclaves such as Fuendejalón, Vera de Moncayo and the ascent to Moncayo, one of the prominent challenges of this edition.
Manuela Berges, mayor of Pedrola; Teresa Ladrero, Vice President of DPZ; Noelia Herrero, DGA Subdelegate; Dori Ruano, ambassador of the Women’s Tour; Luis Marquina, president of the Aragonese Cycling Federation; and Fernando Escartín, director of the Women’s Tour.
The departure from Pedrola, which is located at 283 meters of altitude, has been the beginning of a key day within this edition of the Women’s Tour, considered one of the most prestigious competitions of the international calendar. The test has brought together the best cyclists on the international scene.
-In the immediate vicinity of the sports complex, it has been possible to enjoy the arrival of the teams, the presentation of the participating cyclists in each of the teams, the warm -up prior to the race. This moment has not missed the students of the CEIP Cervantes, who have even been able to receive some autograph and photograph themselves with the athletes.
The people who have approached not only to the vicinity of the sports center have been numbers, but also to different points of the tour, wanting to participate in this great day and live closely the sport and show Pedrola’s support to one of the great dating of international female cycling.
