Cincinnati (AP)-The Dominican Amed Rosario connected a home run and promoted four races to take the Washington National to a 11-6 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday.
Rosario, who hit a double producer with two outs in the fourth inning against the opener of the Reds, Nick Lodolo (3-3), to tie the slate to three, connected a three-round home run for his second home run of the season, putting the Nationals above 6-3 in the sixth.
James Wood continued with his fourth hit, stole second base and scored with a single from Nathaniel Lowe, which ended Lodolo’s performance. Jacob Young added a high sacrifice to increase the advantage to 8-3, and Riley Adams connected a two racing single in the eighth input against Brent Suter.
A simple promoter of Alex Call and a high sacrifice of Luis García Jr. put the Nationals above 2-0 in the first entrance.
A double of two Spencer Steer races against Trevor Williams tied the game after the first post.
Tyler Callihan-who left 3-0 in his debut on Wednesday-connected a simple driver in the second to put Cincinnati above 3-2.
Williams (2-3) allowed nine hits in five innings and one third. He left the duel with an advantage of 7-4 after Jake Fraley connected a solo home run.
Andrew Chafin entered to get the last two outs of La Sexta before José Ferrer, Jackson Rutledge and Eduardo Salazar closed the game.
Lodolo allowed seven races-session of them clean-and ten hits in five episodes and one third.
The start of the game was delayed 20 minutes due to rain.
For the Nationals, the Dominican Rosario of 6-3 with one scored and four pushed.
For the Reds, the Dominicans Elly de la Cruz of 4-2 with a scored and an epujada, Santiago Espinal of 4-3, Noelvi Mars of 2-0.
