Luis Linares, president of Gemini and Club spokesman, indicated that the decision of the teams not to participate in the first date is due to an alteration in the rules that considerably harm their financial stability.
“Today we have been notified of the bases with a amendment, where we try to impose the collection of operational expenses to be discounted from the club’s box office. Imagine not having a box office that can cover the expenses when there is no entry of the public,” said Linares.
Likewise, Linares, in dialogue with Movistar Deportes, blamed the FPV for the lack of organization, since the required procedures and permits were not correctly managed.
“Here is an inefficiency of the Federation by not having requested the documentation in time and not having the permits (…) until this situation is resolved, the clubs are going to stay in the reservation to participate,” he said.
