WhatsApp plans to incorporate a function that will allow users to receive private summaries from messages received in individual chats or in groups by integrating goal AI in the next update.
The messaging application is exploring this possibility for the occasions in which users receive a considerable amount of new messages in any conversation, which will consist of showing a button with a request to summarize new messages through artificial intelligence of the company dedicated to the target.
This function is incorporated into the latest Beta WhatsApp update for Android 2.25.15.12, which the Wabetainfo team has discovered, which has explained that if the user decides to summarize the messages, the new feature called private processing will be used.
This new characteristic guarantees that the content of the message is managed entirely in a protected environment, without exposure to WhatsApp, goal or third parties, and the summary is returned to the device without storing or conserving the original messages. Likewise, the original messages can be recovered immediately maintaining the total privacy of their messages.
On the other hand, Wabetainfo has indicated that despite the privacy guarantees offered by private processing, this summary function will not be available in the chats that have advanced privacy enabled. This last tool, announced last April, offers greater security by preventing the export of chats to automatic multimedia content and interactions with goal AI.
