MADRID 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, has denounced this Sunday that Russia is responding every week “with more deaths” and “more terror” to international efforts to end the war in Ukraine and kyiv’s negotiating will.
“To world efforts for peace and the constant disposition to negotiate from Ukraine, Russia responds every week with more attacks, more deaths, more terror,” said Albares in a statement published after a new wave of Russian night attacks against several Ukrainian populations that have left at least 16 injured.
The Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, had denounced in the early thing that the Russian attack has consisted of some 165 Russian non -manned aerial vehicles, most of them ‘shahed’ of Iranian manufacture, which add up to the more than 1,180 attack drones, 130 guided air pumps and 10 missiles of various types used against their country only this week.
“We condemn this meaningless aggression once again and the constant violations of international humanitarian law,” Albares insisted before ensuring that Spain has no intention of resigning “a Europe in which the power of force and impunity impose its law.”
“The aggression cannot have a reward,” said Foreign Minister before insisting once again that “Spain is with Ukraine” and will continue “supporting efforts for a fair and lasting peace according to the principles of the United Nations Charter.”
