The National Meteorological Service issued two weather warning notices for the occurrence of zonda wind and strong storms. The coverage area where wind zonda will blow comprises the provinces of San Juan, La Rioja and Catamarca. In addition, the SMN indicated the possibility of snowfall in the Andes mountain range in Mendoza, Neuquén and Río Negro.
In reference on storm alert, the affected provinces are: Buenos Aires, Mendoza, La Pampa, San Luis, Misiones, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Chaco and Formosa.
Storm warning
Yellow:
The area will be affected by storms, some locally strong. They are expected to be accompanied by electrical activity, occasional fall of hail, bursts and fundamentally abundant water fall in short periods.
Accumulated precipitation values between 30 and 60 mm are expected, being able to be overcome in a timely manner, especially in the coastal region, where accumulated values can reach 80 mm.
Zonda wind alert
Yellow:
The area will be affected by zonda wind with speeds between 40 and 60 km/h with bursts that could reach 80 km/h. This phenomenon can cause visibility reduction, a sudden increase in temperature and very low relative humidity conditions.

Recommendations
- Do not get the garbage. Remove objects that prevent water from draining.
- Avoid outdoor activities.
- Do not take refuge near trees and electricity posts that can fall.
- To minimize the risk of being reached by lightning, do not remain on beaches, rivers, lagoons or pools.
- Be attentive to the possible hail fall.
- Inform yourself by the authorities. You always have an emergency backpack with flashlight, radio, documents and telephone.
