An important road artery returns to star in a new incident, generating even more tension in a day that has already started especially complicated. This second accident, which occurred in the same section where another similar event had previously been recorded, has raised the concern of the drivers that circulate in the area, and that have been trapped in the early morning in the early morning.
New shock in Trinitat sense
Around 9:18 in the morning, a new accident took place in the B-10, in the direction of the Trinitat, specifically at the height of Can Tunis. On this occasion, the clash has caused the immediate closure of the left lane, resulting in a congestion that, so far, accumulates about 3.5 kilometers of withholdings. The images shared by the authorities clearly show how traffic is partially paralyzed and numerous vehicles hope patiently to continue their journey.
This incident happens just minutes after another similar event that occurred in the opposite direction, towards Llobregat, which has also taken place near Can Tunis. This event, produced shortly after 8 in the morning due to a breakdown, has caused even more extensive withholdings, reaching 10.5 kilometers of congested traffic.
Accumulated impact and immediate reaction
The combination of these two accidents in opposite senses has made the B-10 one of the main critical points of traffic in the city during this day. Emergency teams work intensively on the ground to quickly solve both situations and facilitate a speedy recovery of normal traffic. The accident does not seem to incur a severity of high dimensions and, therefore, for the moment no injured has transcended.
The traffic authorities have strongly recommended to avoid the area as far as possible, indicating alternative routes and advising the use of other public transport means. The situation, as official sources have confirmed, remains active and traffic could still take a good time to return to normal.
In addition to these two accidents in the Can Tunis area, other sections of the B-10 also present important difficulties. The circulation is especially slow in the section between Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Sant Adrià de Besòs in the north direction towards the Nus Trinitat, as well as in the opposite direction from Barcelona to the Nus Llobregat, respectively accumulating 3.5 and 10 kilometers of dense traffic.
Since the incident has been mild, the situation is expected to be normal in the next minutes and that the circulation will recover its fluidity little by little.
