The State Prosecutor’s Office of Jalisco reported on the arrest of two men allegedly involved in the murder of María del Carmen Morales, mother seeking, and her son Jaime Daniel, who were attacked in the Las Villas fractionation, in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga.
The detainees, identified as Juan Manuel “N”, 27, and José Luis “N”, 24, were located after collecting evidence and testimonies that directly link them with the crime. According to the authorities, suspects would also be related to at least 10 other homicides in the region.
According to the investigations, the attack occurred while María del Carmen and her son went out to a park near their home to collect water. At that time, armed subjects on a cross -type motorcycle, black with red and Michoacán plates, intercepted them. José Luis “N” would have descended from the vehicle and shot at the victims before fleeing with his accomplice.
The Public Ministry requested and obtained arrest warrants against both individuals, which were completed in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. Additionally, new arrest warrants are in process for other violent events, including femicide attempt and qualified homicide recorded in October 2024, as well as another murder that occurred in December of the same year.
The ViceFiscalía in Specialized Criminal Investigation argues that there are enough indications to link Juan Manuel “N” and José Luis “N” with multiple cases of deprivation of life in Jalisco.
Jalisco’s Warriors Search Man collective confirmed the death of María del Carmen and her son, demanding justice and the total clarification of the facts.
