MADRID 2 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has advocated Friday before the commanders of the Armed Forces for “accelerating” the production of the country’s ballistic systems, since he considers that providing the military as long -range projectiles represents “a clear and effective guarantee” in security.
This has been stated by the president in a speech in which he has taken stock of the contacts held in the last hours and that also include conversations related to the capabilities of the Air Force, particularly in obtaining F-16 fighters.
Zelenski has pointed out that they have talked about the planes that are already in the hands of Ukraine and those who “soon” will arrive, highlighting the “good results” of recent months to reinforce the armed forces with a view to containing the threat of Russia.
The president has lamented that his counterpart from Russia, Vladimir Putin, “continues to reject the high full and durable fire”, which has led the international community to be “tired” of the “manipulations.” He has also reiterated that the Ukrainian forces will continue to attack objectives on Russian soil, under the premise that “war should feel in the place that comes.”
The Ukrainian army maintains open incursions in the Russian regions of Kursk and Belgorod.
