A dramatic episode was recorded this Saturday on National Route 14, at kilometer 174, at the height of the Department of Colón, in Entre Ríos. A native family of the town of San Martín de los Andes, in the province of Neuquén, suffered an accident that resulted in the total fire of the vehicle in which they moved.
According to police and local media, the incident occurred when a Toyota Corolla confused the asphalt tape for reasons that are still investigated. After the impact, the road began to catch fire and ended up wrapped in flames, which caused the total loss of the car.
Inside four people were traveling: a 42 -year -old man, who was driving the vehicle; A woman of 35, and two children under 15 and 13 years. Fortunately, everyone managed to get out of time, before it was completely consumed by fire.
The occupants were assisted in the place by emergency personnel and then transferred preventively to the San Benjamín de Colón hospital, where studies were carried out to rule out serious injuries.
Police personnel worked with jurisdiction in the area, in addition to endowments of firefighters and health services.
