Little by little, the facts that are being investigated in the alleged electoral fraud in which the PSOE could have incurred in Albaida del Aljarafe in the municipal elections of May 2019, whose epicenter is in the vote by mail, … which quintupled in this town of about 3,200 inhabitants above the national average.
Applications for votes under suspicion are already more than the eight initials that Left Unida denounced, which then stayed to six votes to achieve municipal representation. In this case, the two post -investigated mail workers play an important role, since without them it would have been almost impossible to process said applications. The Electoral Regime Law establishes that the employee of this state company must verify that the person who performs such procedures, the application of the vote, the collection of the documentation and the deposit of the suffrage is the person in question. It is a process that cannot be delegated to a third. It must be ensured that the voter’s signature corresponds to the person who deposits him. That’s what the DNI is. However, in Albaida del Aljarafe, where the majority of town hall workers voted by mail, things happened in the 2019 elections. This has been testified by some neighbors who have already testified in the Sanlúcar Court that takes this matter, in which there are eight investigated, including the current mayor and his successor, both of the PSOE. This is collected in the judicial resolutions to which this newspaper has had access.
Although in the Albaida PSOE they ensure that they are not investigated or have record. That said, some testimony show surreal situations. A neighbor said she voted by mail because of the COVID, despite the fact that the pandemic arrived in Spain ten months after the elections. Another neighbor, he declared before the Civil Guard, that this year he had decided to change his vote of the PSOE to the PP because his brother -in -law was presented by the popular. He decided to vote by mail because he lived in the field and day of the elections did not want to go to the town. Although, when one of his sisters, who is the honorary president of the local PSOE, learned of his intentions he sent him a WhatsApp message that said: “If Father raised his head.” His whole family had always voted for the PSOE and now a son betrayed him. A marriage has testified to the judge ensuring that they never vote, however their votes, by mail, were at the polls. Another assured that a person linked to the PSOE offered him a job the day after the elections if he gave him the DNI to manage the vote by mail. He returned his national identity document two days later. He never got the work, but the promise was made.
