The weekend in Calvi opened under the sign of the ecological transition. The second edition of the Green Orizonte Festival, organized by the Calvi-Balagne Intercommunal Tourist Office (OTI), officially started this Friday, May 2 with a particularly dense day. In the morning, 468 Balanin students had the chance to discover in preview the numerous activities offered on the festival site.
In Lumiu, it is a completely different audience that has been welcomed: that of tourism professionals. The time of a day called “Orizonte Pro”, conferences, thematic workshops and presentations have been chained around a common thread: a tourism concerned with the “care”, the social and the territories. “” Orizonte Pro went very very well. It was a very qualified group, a small committee, with a course according to the themes of 2025, namely a somewhat macro vision of inclusion, to take care in tourism », Suitcase animals-MARTERS PAZARDI, Directions of Ott de Calvi.
Among the highlights of the day, the presentation of the Green Destination label on an island scale and that of an original IA project developed in Calvi. “” We presented in preview our project validated by our AI steering committee: a historic visit, in the company of Christopher Columbus, but entirely carried out in artificial intelligenceShe explains. The project designer, Romain Deceuninck, is also present at the festival and will intervene on Saturday during a public conference devoted to the uses of the AI.
Three workshops made it possible to extend the reflections: the first on inclusion, the second on artificial intelligence, and the third dedicated to the Corsican application to the Green Destination label. At the end of this professional day, an improvised and caricatured theatrical performance offered an original restitution of the exchanges.
