Querétaro, Qro., May 5, 2025.- On Monday afternoon, emergency bodies attended a fire inside a home located in the Juriquilla neighborhood, in the Queretana capital, after an explosion caused by accumulation of LP gas in the kitchen.
The deflagration generated a fire that mobilized H. Fire Department of Querétaro, elements of the Ministry of Municipal Public Security and the State Civil Protection Coordination. Thanks to the rapid intervention of rescuers, a man who resulted in second -degree burns was assisted.
The injured received prehospital care at the scene and was subsequently transferred to a medical unit to receive specialized treatment.
The authorities urged citizens to give periodic maintenance to their gas facilities, review connections and valves, as well as be attentive to any possible leak. Given any indication of risk, it is recommended to immediately communicate to the emergency number 911.
