Testing only the candidacy of the president of the party, Jordan Bardella, and initiated by Hexagon-a think tank funded by the Liberal-Conservative billionaire Pierre-Edouard Sterin-, this opinion of the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP) was perceived by some as a way of delegitimizing the hypothesis of a candidacy of Marine Le Pen, always presented as the natural pretender of the party.
On Sunday April 27, in the evening, hexagon published on its social networks the announcement of a “Great exclusive survey of voting intentions for the 2027 presidential election”with 10,000 respondents, offering second -round configurations. Accompanying the announcement, a visual presents 14 political figures from the workers’ wrestling spokesperson, Nathalie Arthaud, to the president of Reconquer !, Eric Zemmour, locating Jordan Bardella at the center. But Marine Le Pen is not there.
