On Wednesday afternoon there were four narcobloqueos with burning vehicles on roads from southwest Guanajuato, allegedly due to disturbances and persecutions that began in Michoacán and extended to this entity.
Armed people forced the drivers of several trailers to get off the vehicles and set them on fire on the Free Abasolo-San Gregorio, Pénjamo-La Piedad, Pénjamo-Basolo (near the Tequilera Corralejo) and in Federal 90 La Piedad-Pénjamo.
The secretary of Security and Peace of the state, Juan Mauro González Martínez, confirmed vehicle fires in four highway points in Guanajuato, without injured people.
“These facts are related to riots originated in the state of Michoacán, where similar incidents have been recorded in at least five municipalities. There is also knowledge of a case in the boat, Jalisco,” he said.
The security command said that in Guanajuato the situation is contained and under control.
