Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will look to close out the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night in a pivotal Game 5 of their first-round NBA playoff series.
Curry has been his usual self through the first four games, averaging 26.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists. His best performance came in Game 3, when he dropped 36 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out nine assists in a 104-93 win.

The two-time NBA MVP has been playing through a right thumb injury he sustained in the Warriors’ second-to-last game of the season on April 11. Curry hasn’t missed any games since, but after a photo surfaced on social media Tuesday, fans grew concerned.

The team traveled from the Bay Area to Houston on Tuesday ahead of Game 5. As the players walked across the tarmac to board the plane, the Warriors snapped photos of several players, including Curry.
His thumb quickly became the focus on social media, as fans zoomed in and noticed how swollen it looked.
“that looks broken,” one fan said.
“Take it down before the rockets see and attack,” another wrote.

“Delete we all know how Dirty Dillon Brooks is,” added another.
“jesus man,” said a fan.
“What on earth? It looks like a dislocation. How is he playing like that?” one wrote.
“Goodness gracious,” said another fan.
Despite how painful the injury looks, Curry is listed as available and will play through it once again.
Tip-off between the Warriors and the Rockets at the Honda Center is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. According to ESPN Bet, Houston enters as a 4.5-point favorite to win Game 5.
