The municipal president of Centro, Yolanda Osunacalled the population to be responsible and Avoid fires at home and in external areas, such as land and grasslands.
He indicated that the Municipal and State Civil Protection system have been working together to address the fires registered in the municipality.
“On the subject with the population (I call) to be responsible, really, that all parts of the vacant lots where there is garbage, that do not concentrate this type of garbage, that have clean their vacant lots.
“Exhort them to try to prevent fires, that we do not fire in grassland areas because this leads to fires,” he said.
The mayor said that burns and work to improve air quality should be avoided, also being responsible for the management of solid waste.
