‘I had two weeks of downturn’


Joshua does not go through his best moment in the adventure of but destiny – and the organization of the program – had prepared a surprise that would the course of his experience in Honduras. In the middle of a test in which his long -awaited reward was played, the young man received a visit that returned his mood and forces: his , Kiko, arrived in boat to hug him and remind him that he is not alone.

By seeing his father’s silhouette, he could not contain tears. “I want to thank you for everything you do for me, for always being pending, I love you very much,” I said visibly excited.

Father and son, more united than ever

The survivor, affected by the physical and emotional wear of reality, confessed that he needed this impulse to move forward. “I had two weeks of total downturn”he acknowledged, and did not hesitate to thank both his father and the program team for making it possible.

For his part, Kiko not only limited himself to hugging his son, but also filled him with words of mood: “Now, up. I already came, you have already achieved it, You have gone down in history. you are 80 years old you will say: ‘I was in survivors. A book is not written about the cowards and you are a champion. ‘”

Plans for the future and a promise

This reunion not only served to comfort Joshua in the middle of the contest, but also to make him reflect. The contestant shared with his father his desire to spend more together when he returns to Spain, recognizing that the experience has made him value ties even more. “Honduras has made me think a lot.”
