In contrast to the power of the premieres of April (some still in broadcast), the proposals of television fiction that May brings are much less juicy. Even so, there are titles that stand out, as the new comedy of Tina Fey with luxury cast, the return of Jacob Elordi to television after Euphoria or the narrative, as thriller Cross politician with comedy, of the victory of Spain in Eurovision in 1968.
In addition, Dennis Quaid is the Happy Face serial killer in Happy face: the story of a serial killer (day 8 in Skyshowtime). Maggie and Negan follow their adventures in the Postapocalptic Manhattan in the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City (day 8 in AMC+). The Icelandic series Vigdís (day 13 in Filmin) tells the life of the first head of state chosen democratically in the world. The third season of Beyond Paradise (day 13 in Cosmo) brings new cases for Inspector Humphrey Goodman. And the fourth batch of animated shorts of Love, death & Robots (day 15 in Netflix) Combine creativity, dystopia and terror again.
The new JJ Abrams series, the action thriller Duster (Day 16 in Max), has Josh Holloway as the protagonist. Towards zero (Day 19 in Movistar+) It is a new adaptation of Agatha Christie, with Anjelica Huston and Matthew Rhys in the cast. Nicole Kidman embodies the Masha Guru in the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers (Day 22 at Amazon Prime Video), which moves its spiritual retreat to the Austrian Alps. In addition, this month will also bring new intergalactic adventures from Rick y Morty (day 26 in Max) and the wanderings of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and company with the third season of And Just Like That (day 30 in Max).
From the premieres and returns of this month (which can consult in our calendar), we recommend giving this selection a chance.
The four stations
A romantic comedy of 1981 written, directed and starred by Alan Alda followed three couples of New York friends in four holiday escapes, one in each season of the year. That classic is the origin of the cooked comedy and starring Tina Fey, who shares a poster with Steve Carell, Colman Domingo and Will Forte (and Alan Alda himself as guest star) to follow the holidays of three middle -class couples and the tensions that arise between them when one of them separates and the husband takes a much younger woman to the following trips. It is composed of eight episodes, with two chapters dedicated to each escape from each season, and in its dialogues there is a lot of reflection on friendship and love in maturity.

A bad boy
This Israeli drama begins with a monologuist about to begin its humor show. But then few laughs will come. Ron Leshem, responsible for the Euphoria Original Israeli, the filmmaker Hagar Ben Asher and Daniel Chen, whose real history is based on this series, are the creators of this intense prison drama splashed with temporary jumps that shows how the young Dean is given from Bruces with reality when he enters a ruthless detention center for minors. There, he learns to take advantage of a creativity that two decades later will make him a successful comedian whose past threatens to move. The song
The great Spanish achievement in Eurovision was no accident. Franco gave the order: “We have to win Eurovision because Carmen would be very excited.” From there, in RTVE they take it as a state mission: you have to go for all, look for the song with more options to win an interpreter at the height. But along the way there will be a thousand vicissitudes, from a last minute singer change to a deranged gala and a high -height rival. The feat of winning Eurovision in 1968 is counted in this series of three episodes with rhythm and light tone, more towards comedy than towards the thriller political. Fiction and reality intersect in a production dotted with file material and drawn with the social and political backdrop of the moment. Patrick Criado, àlex Brendemühl, Carolina Yuste and Marcel Borràs are the protagonists of this entertaining series, perfect for heating engines before seeing Melody in Eurovision.

Science fiction is one of the favorite genres of Apple TV+ series and this is a new incursion into that field. But it does it with a turn: the comic tone. The spectators can listen to their thoughts while trying to decide what to do and how to hide their free will. Although what he would like is to be seeing his favorite space soap opening, so as not to get attention, he joins a dangerous mission in which he will have to protect a group of scientists. The story is based on Martha Wells’s novels Matabot’s newspapers and has its best weapon in its protagonist and that peculiar tone halfway between the thrillerscience fiction and comedy.
