Today he marked a milestone in the country’s economic history with the inauguration of the I International Congress of Entrepreneurs, an event that seeks to enhance the “entrepreneurial engine” not only in Venezuela, but also in Latin America and the world.
The executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the importance of this meeting that takes place in Caracas, from this April 23 to 25.
He pointed out that this Congress is crucial to understand the impact of ventures on the economy, in the generation of employment and in the reduction of social gaps. It is a space that promotes social inclusion.
“One of the most novel aspects is how entrepreneurs can be linked internationally so that their products cross borders,” Rodríguez added.
-In addition, he explained that attendees will be able to explore an exhibition area that covers nine key sectors: textile and clothing, tourism, agriculture, pharmaceutical, ecological, innovation and technology, gastronomy and construction. This space will serve as a platform to show the innovative initiatives that are emerging in Venezuela despite the adverse context facing the country.
Rodríguez also mentioned that Congress will offer visits to local tourist experiences and the main bank of the country, where financing mechanisms will be presented to support Venezuelan entrepreneurs.
“With joy we reaffirm our hope in the prosperous future thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes our people,” Rodriguez concluded.
