The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, said Saturday that the opposition registered “coup plotters, fascists and extremists” as candidates for deputies of Parliament, charges that will be chosen on May 25.
“I really tell them, from the heart. Those people already washed their face and already registered coupists, fascists and extremists for the National Assembly. Do you think they are going to the National Assembly to seek laws to help the people? No, they go to the National Assembly again to bring sanctions, to try to kneel,” Rodriguez said during a tour of the San Agustín parish, in Caracas.
Who is also a candidate for the ruling party ratified that each vote cast on May 25 must be “against those extremists, against those fascists.”
“As they could not with the sanctions, right now they are sought against our young people. They have 253 young innocent Venezuelans kidnapped in El Salvador by the Nayib Bukele satrap,” he said.
“That Ja **** Donald Trump’s (…) has 253 innocent young Venezuelans. And the worst thing they may have done, the worst thing was to have torn from her mother’s arms to a two -year -old girl,” he added.
Regarding the case of the girl Maikelys Espinoza, Rodríguez said that the minor was on the list approved by the authorities for return to Venezuela in a repatriation flight that arrived last Friday.
“That country is not a decent country. That government is not a decent government. That of the United States is an outlaw government, which does not respect the laws. And Venezuelans are not better anywhere else than not here, in Venezuela. By revenge, for hate, they kidnapped Maikelys and removed it from their mother’s arms,” he said.
He said that, to date, the Venezuelan executive is unaware of the girl’s whereabouts, who, according to the administration of Donald Trump, “remains under the care and custody of the refugee relocation office and is currently a host family.”
Rodríguez also accused the opposition of having arrived at Parliament in 2015 “in a cost of lies, inventions and false wedges.”
