After 6 in the morning, a collision between a gandola and a bus left two people injured on Lucio Oquendo Avenue

A 69 -year -old woman and a 43 man were injured after a strong shock registered between a gandola and a public transport unit on Tuesday morning, on Lucio Oquendo Avenue.
According to information provided by the San Cristóbal Fire Department, the collision took place on Avenida 19 de Abril crossing Lucio Oquendo Avenue, when the public transport unit hit the rear of the heavy load vehicle.
The injured turned out to be the driver of the transport unit, identified as L. Colmenares, 43, who presented generalized polytrauma and trauma in the left leg. Likewise, a woman who moved in the front of the bus, identified as M. Cacique, who presented generalized polytrauma and closed Toráxico trauma, was also attended. Both are being treated at the Central Hospital of San Cristóbal.
Witnesses say that the public transport unit was going speed when it collided with the gandola.
The troops made the protection and risk mitigation in the area until the arrival of land traffic officials.
