Inhabitants of the Venezuela neighborhood, located in Cumaná, capital of the Sucre state, they raise their voice in the face of the critical situation they face for the lack of public lighting on La Industrial Avenue.
The lack of lighting is specifically in front of the Antonio Lemos Pérez Lyceum and the Superbloques.
Luis Carlos Roca, social leader of the community, denounced that for approximately two and a half months this area remains completely dark, covering the section between the traffic lights of the Cascajal area to the entrance of El Valle.
“This generates a serious problem in both pedestrian and vehicular. Motorcycle, cars and multiple robberies have already been recorded,” he said.
Given this panorama, Roca made an urgent call to the workers of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) to address this problem that affects more than 3,000 people in the Venezuela neighborhood in Cumaná.
