What a terrible news! After enjoying the Mata Gorda beach on the Paraguaná Peninsula, a woman and her four -year -old son perished, and five other people, all of the same family from Lagunillas, were injured after a pumping in Falcón.
The accident occurred exactly in the “Puerto Escondido” network of the Falcón municipality, at 5:15 in the afternoon of Saturday, May 3, 2025.

People injured in the incident respond to the names of Nohemí Díaz (55), Hilda Canelo (57), Alismar Romero (28), Alismeli Romero (27) and the driver Giuseppe Ceccalli (58), who presented fractures in the ribs.
The ladies suffered strong polytrauma in various parts of the body and receive medical assistance at the Hospital «Dr. Rafael streets Sierra »from Punto Fijo. Giuseppe Ceccalli and his wife, Alismar Romero, were in the front of the unit.

The journalist Pedro Colina spoke with Alismar Romero Díaz, one of the survivors, who narrated that the truck gave at least 20 laps.
On the health status of Alismar Romero, it was known that it is delicate and needs an emergency tomography.

Ysmelis Elizabeth Romero Díaz (29) and his little son Mateo Daniel Morillo Romero did not run with the same fate as the rest of his family.
Ysmelis’s body violently left the truck, being lying on the ground without vital signs, while the little angel, who went with his grandmother Nohemí Díaz, was helped, but entered without vital signs to the Simón Bolívar Hospital of Pueblo Nuevo.

The child, a native of Ciudad Ojeda, had suffered severe craniocerebral trauma and multiple scoriations.
Among the injured women are two education professionals of the Lagunillas municipality: Nohemí Díaz, mother of Ysmelis and grandmother of Mateo, who is a teacher of the school Group City Ojeda; and Hilda Canelo, retired teacher of the “Francisco de Miranda” school.
Civil Protection, GNB and CPNB officials, attended the emergency after the fold in Falcón.
