The V Venezuelan Brigade of Solidarity with the Saharawi people delivered donations of morrales, tools and soccer balls to children and young refugees in Tinduf, Algeria.
The delivery occurred during the meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Teaching and Professional training of the RASD, regarding the development of different activities led by the Venezuelan Brigade.
The special Venezuelan envoy, Professor Luis Aparicio, transmitted congratulations and recognition to the Democratic Saharawi Arab Republic (RASD), by achieving one of the objectives of the 2063 Agenda of the African Union in the midst of adversity.
Aparicio added that Venezuela is a country that admires the educational processes in the RASD and reaffirmed that Caracas wishes to explore the exchange of experiences of what he called “the pedagogy of resistance.”
The general secretary of said portfolio of the African nation, Mustafa Mohamed Fadi, confirmed that training and teaching are the paths for the liberation of his people in the face of oppression.
The Saharawi people, despite registering half a century of struggle for their independence, enjoys a free and inclusive education, which taxed that refugee camps in Tinduf were decreed in 2024 as free territories of illiteracy.
The educational system in this region, located east of Algeria, is mandatory and covers from the initial stage to high school. Students also have professional training centers and several training areas at the University of Tifariti.
