YPF announced a 4% decline in fuels since May 1
The YPF oil company announced days ago the reduction in fuel prices by 4% Average as of this Thursday, May 1. The measure will reach all service stations in the country and is part of a constant review strategy of its commercial parameters.
The new reduction marks the second time that YPF adjusts its prices on the last stretch of the year. In October 2024, the company had already applied a similar measure, in a context of falling oil prices and changes in the internal conditions of the Argentine economy.
On this occasion, the main reason lies in the behavior of the Brent crude, global reference for the sector, which showed a downward trend in recent months. This situation, added to other economic factors, pushed the company to reconfigure its commercial policy.
