In an interview with Yordi Rosado, Sylvia Pasquel opened her heart to talk about one of the most painful moments of her life: the tragic death of her sister, Viridiana AlatristeIn 1982. During the conversation, the actress shared a shocking detail: Viridiana, daughter of Silvia Pinal and producer Gustavo Alatriste, seemed to have had a feeling about her own death.
According to Sylvia, Viridiana, who died at age 19 in a car accident in Mexico City, had mentioned that perhaps she would not be present at her mother’s wedding. Although at the time the actress thought she was referring to labor commitments, she now believes that these words reflected an intuition about her destiny.

“It was very strong because I was very close to my sister. Very close, very close, much, too. Like I sensed that something was going to happen, because I was already looking for her from the previous day”He said.
“My mother was going to marry and she was doing the soap opera with my mother and once my sister He told me: ‘I feel that I will not be at my mother’s wedding’ And I said: ‘Of course, they will let you go to the wedding’ (…) and that day I was looking for her and everything contrasted so that I did not see her or not to find her, “he added.

The actress also recalled how she learned about the tragedy. Days before, I felt an inexplicable anxiety to see Viridianawho was about to conclude his participation in the play ‘Tartufo’. However, he could not attend the final function, which generated a deep remorse. The morning of October 25, 1982, a phone call confirmed its worst fears: Viridiana’s car had ruggedand she had died instantly due to a blow to the temple.
“when they talked to me in the morning to tell him that I had to go to recognize the body and everything, because it was very strongand more warn my mother, who had more or less learned because the news had already begun to come out on the radio. And yes, this whole process was very difficult for me, ”he added.
He also pointed out that Viridiana’s death was very affected, not only because of how close they were, but because of the way it happened, and although today she still loves her and remembers her, that feeling has been transformed.
“No matter the age you have, when a person you love leaves that very brutal way that you hit you very hard. Over time the affections are transformed, the absences. ”
