Since this Thursday, May 1, the oil company YPF implemented a 4% reduction in gasoline prices and diesel at the service stations throughout the country. This decision, framed in a context of descent from international oil prices, has generated various reactions in the sector and among consumers.
New prices in Tucumán
The super gasoline, which was previously marketed at a price of $ 1264 per liter, has experienced a decrease and is now at $ 1213. For its part, the diesel, which had a cost of $ 1313, is currently offered to $ 1260.
From the Tucumán Service Stations Chamber (CAPEGA) They explained that this reduction is related to the variation in the international price of oil, which has cost approximately $ 75 a barrel in previous months (February, March and early April) to a current value of $ 64. This decline in fuel prices, although held by many, also raises questions about the impact on the local economy and future energy market projections in the country.
Thus, the YPF measure is presented as a reflection of fluctuations of the global market and its influence on the behavior of prices nationwide.
