Within the framework of the traditional celebration of Mother’s day, the White Pass has delivered this morning of its Golden Palms, a recognition that distinguishes those whites whose career and delivery stand out for their dedication, commitment and love for the brotherhood.
The act, which has taken place after the floral offering and the Eucharist held in honor of the Virgen de la Amargura, has had the presence of numerous attendees who have wanted to join this special day.
Next, the president of the White Paso, Ramón Mateos, Padilla, has delivered three gold palms, whose award -winning represents diverse profiles but united by a constant: their tireless delivery to the step.
First, he collected the Golden Palm Andrés Martínez Rodríguez, for his role as a historian and chronicler of the brotherhood. Active member in different areas, Andrés Martínez has been recognized for his deep knowledge, his vocation of service and his unique way of transmitting the living history of the White Pass.
The second gold palm has been for Pedro Pallarés, vice president responsible for the house of the passage and flag bearer, for their ability to mobilize the new generations and their constant energy. His work at the head of the costume team, his tireless involvement and his delivery when carrying the white flag with pride, have been key in his recognition.
And finally, the president delivered the Golden Palm to María Jesús Pérez Periago, “Marichu”, current president of the Choir of Ladies of the Virgen de la Amargura, whose delivery and constancy deserved a very special mention by the president of the White Paso. Her silent but firm dedication, her ability to take care of even the slightest detail and her deep love for the Virgin have made her a key figure within the brotherhood.
The three winners have collected the badge among applause from all present and have been excited and grateful to the President for this distinction to his work.
