The mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez, has committed to the future plan of management of the Palma Local Policethat the City Council intends to approve before summer, will include a salary increase for agents.
The announcement made this Friday during the inauguration of the new headquarters of the International Police Association (IPA) in S’arenal, which he attended as a guest. Meeting with unions to agree on the plan
The commitment comes a day after the mayor met with union representatives of the Local Police of Palma. During the meeting, Martínez transferred their intention to approve the Management Plan Before the beginning of summer, and to reach an agreement with the unions in that process.
A new police model for Palma
As explained by the City of Palma, the main objective of the future plan is Modernize the model Organizational of the Local Police and move towards a more operational structure, efficient and adapted to the current needs of the municipality.
