University of Chile can take an important step to get closer to the return of a reference. Although the blues remain focused on the duel against Huachipato, they continued attentively the Chile Cup draw. In this it was determined that those led by Gustavo Álvarez can face a club strongly linked to Charles Aranguiz.
In the ceremony held this Friday, April 26, chance placed Municipal Puente Alto near the U. The team from the southern zone of Santiago must face Colchagua to eventually be the rival of the blues in the first round of the Regional Phase of the Chile Cup.

The latter, brother of the Prince, is the technical director of the Third A team. He will be one of the main people in charge of beating Colchagua to have one of the most important keys of his life. He has already achieved promotion to Third A in 2023 and now wants to face Universidad de Chile.

In case of reaching the next round, who can rule out that Charles Aránguiz arrives in the country to witness the duel between Municipal Puente Alto and the U. He has already been sighted on several occasions watching the team linked to his family, although on this occasion they would have plenty of reasons to be there.
Although he has a contract with Inter de Porto Alegre until December 2024, the blue team knows that a return is a concrete possibility. He already spoke with the club in 2023 (without obtaining major results) and hopes to have negotiations at the end of the year. The Prince can get drastically closer to the U.
When does Municipal Puente Alto play?
The key duel for the Puente Alto team will be this Sunday, April 28, while the second leg will be played on May 5. If they beat Colchagua, the capital team will face the U in the Central-North Zone for the Regional Phase of the Chile Cup.
