In the break of match between Huachipato and Universidad de Chilethe stands of the stadium in Talcahuano were temporarily evacuated at halftime due to a bomb warning.

The security forces received the alert 30 minutes into the match with an anonymous call to the Carabineros 133 emergency numberthreatening that an artifact would explode two minutes later in the north gallery of the Huachipato Stadium.

The prefect of Talcahuano, Colonel Claudio Morales, asked the ANFP to suspend the match, and football only continued until the end of the first stage.

The evacuation notice became effective at halftime of the sporting commitment, with the North and Pacific sectors being the first to be empty.

After insistent calls, the Southern and Preferential sectors also left their seats.

Carabineros reported that “The security protocol was immediately activated, evacuating the different sectors for the respective review. Once ruled out, the fans re-enter the stadium.”
