There is a stir this Monday on social networks, as a journalistic version has gone viral on Antioquia television, indicating that Benjamín Romero, vice president of Atlético Nacional, could leave the club in the coming days.
The journalist David Gutiérrez dropped the bombshell, in the program ‘Change of Front’ of Telemedellin.
Gutiérrez is recognized for being close to the Antioquia club, since for years he has been aware of the team’s events, covering local and international channels. In addition, he worked as head of communications for the purslane club.
Thus, he played with the information: “I dare say today, April 29, that Benjamín Romero’s departure from Nacional is getting closer and closer.”
However, sources consulted by FUTBOLRED denied the possibility of dismissal and confirmed that there was support for Romero, based on his results. In fact, he is in Santa Marta representing the club, in a meeting that Fernando Jaramillo, president of Dimayor, summoned to all Colombian soccer clubs.
