For his part, Red Bull team manager Christian Horner also takes advantage of this moment to congratulate Newey for his incredible work and thank him for his immense dedication. It is the end of a stage for the energy drink brand, as they say goodbye to his great technical figure after 18 years.

“All our great moments of the last 20 years, They come from the hand of Adrian as our technical figure. His vision and brilliance have helped us achieve 13 titles in the last 20 seasons. “His exceptional ability to conceptualize, his incredible talent for challenges and finding the best areas in the regulations have helped Red Bull become a force that even Dietrich Mateschitz himself might not have imagined,” he explained.

“For me, when Adrian came to Red Bull, for me he was a design star. Two decades and 13 titles later, he leaves as a legend. He is also my friend and someone to whom I will be eternally grateful for everything he has given us in this union.
