“Having carried out the investigations on the remains of Diego Maradona, all the heirs request by common agreement that the transfer be authorized,” says a document signed by Dalma, Gianinna and Verónica Ojedaex-partner of the star, representing his youngest son Diego Fernando.
The body of Diez is in the Jardín de Bella Vista cemetery in the Buenos Aires town of San Miguel, where there was a procession the day after his death on November 25, 2020. And the destination proposed by his children is the mausoleum called el Memorial of Ten and which, as they justified, is “a lot safer than the current one and on the other hand so that all the Argentine people and citizens of the world can pay tribute” to his father, who was “the greatest Argentine idol.

The request had the signature of Sebastián Baglietto, the administrator of Maradona’s estate, at the request of the Diez’s five children.
