Since Emiliano Astorga stopped being the coach of Cobreloa, there are several names of candidates, from Jaime Garciawhich apparently goes to Santiago Wanderers, until the very Jorge Peineta Garcés.

One who also came to the fore is Gerardo Ameli, who spent time in Chile at Deportes Antofagasta and Unión La Calera, who in conversation with BOLAVIP not only acknowledges that he was in talks with the Loina leadership, but also makes known the Zorro’s safest strategist.

“To be honest with you there was something at some point, in the last few days, but I understand that they already decided on another option”he claimed.

Adding without mincing words, the name of Cobreloa’s safest coach.

“They told me that they are already closing with another coach, if I’m not mistaken, Sebastián Núñez”he indicates.

Sebastián Núñez would be chosen to be the new coach of Cobreloa.

Likewise, the Argentine coach does not hide his disappointment for not having reached the orange bench.

“It seduced me, I feel that it was not that deep, a survey, an interest, it was not something very specific, I understand or it gives me the feeling that there is a financial problem and that the budget was an issue,” he says.

Among the things that most seduced him to come to Calama, is everything that Cobreloa means in Chilean soccer. “The club is big, of course, I have no doubts,” he concluded.
