Millonarios surprisingly lost 0-1 against Bucaramanga at the El Campín stadium and this result generated a lot of displeasure among the team’s fans, who after the failure in Libertadores see a new elimination close after giving up points in the final home runs.

Several players were accused of being the architects of the defeat and one of them was captain David Mackalister Silva, who after finishing the match made his self-criticism, but also denounced insults to his children by Millonarios fans.

The player assured that his children entered the dressing room crying after being verbally attacked and called on them to behave and if they are dissatisfied, that he is responsible, not his family.

“What to say to the young fans? What I told my children when I saw them cry. This happens in football and this is part of football. My children came in crying. We all feel this because of how they were treated for what they were told to my children. They don’t play, I am the one who plays and I am the one responsible. So, as I told my children, don’t worry, this is part of life,” Silva told the press in the mixed zone.

Now, David Mackalister Silva and Millonarios will focus on improving, because next Wednesday, May 22, they will play the revenge against Bucaramanga as a visitor, a match they arrive with an obligation to win after losing at home.
