Colo Colo is dedicated to the search for reinforcement for the second semester, but in the Cacique there is still no light on any of the three names that can be added by regulation once the first round of the National Championship.

Among the names that appear as reinforcement options for the Cacique have appeared Darío Benedetto, Nicolás Tripichio, Luciano Cabral, Mauritius Island and Lucas Di Yorio, among others.

However, none of them are currently Colo Colo’s official signings. In the last few days Mauricio Isla was the closest, but complications arose and for now the Huaso thing is not moving forward.

In the midst of this context, last Monday the Colo Colo board met in an extraordinary meeting at Casa Alba and there was an agreement to set a deadline for the reinforcement issue. The objective is for the new elements to be placed under the coach’s orders as soon as possible, Jorge Almiron.

Colo Colo maximum deadline for reinforcements

In Colo Colo, the condition was set to have the reinforcements no later than the end of June, or the first week of July if there is a special case.

“I understand that we must have reinforcements as soon as possible. Although it is true that the championship begins in the fortnight of July and the Libertadores in the fortnight of August, we want to have the team tied up within June,” said the president of Blanco y Negro, Hannibal Meuse.

The white helmsman explains that the deadline is “so that there is a mechanism and they take the coach’s hand. If this gets stuck it could reach the first week of July, but it shouldn’t go beyond that.”

Likewise, Mosa stated that the option of Luciano Cabral, who in recent days approached the University of Chile, is not yet ruled out as a possible reinforcement for Colo Colo.

“He is a great player, he is one of those we would like to have in our institution, but I would not want to get ahead of any situation because the negotiations are taking place and we hope they end in a good way. At this moment we continue negotiating and looking for the formation of the squad. But Luciano Cabral is not down, we maintain contact with the people of Coquimbo,” stated Mosa.
