Cáceres-born point guard Nico Marina, from Lithium Iberia Sagrado Corazón, has been preselected for the Spanish U16 men’s team that will defend the European Championship won last summer in Greece. Carles Flores is the coach of a team that will be concentrated in Calatayud from July 15, where an international preparation tournament will be held. Then, on the island of Crete, they will play the European U16 men’s championship, from August 9 to 17. Spain is in Group A together with Finland, Latvia and Turkey.
