The world has seen a first glimpse of what they can expect from the film called “F1”the film that Brad Pitt has been working on since 2023 and which will be released in 2025 after having strong support from the highest category of motorsport as well as from the teams and drivers.

The film features Brad Pittbut he will also be joined by Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo, all of them directed by Joseph Kosinski who is remembered for films such as Top Gun: Maverick or Tron.

The preview of the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit was the setting for the first teaser of what people can expect from the new film, which has been titled F1, the same name as the top category of motor sport.

As previously announced, the film will be about a former driver named Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, who is sought to return to racing in Formula 1 with the APXGP team as a support for a young driver who faces the pressure and challenges of being at the top of world motor sport.

Formula 1 has pulled out all the stops to make this project a success. They have created additional pits to accommodate the number 11 team on the grid at some circuits such as Silverstone, while allowing a modified car to run during weekends as well as a complete opening to production to film in various locations.

Just this week it was announced that the Mexican Grand Prix and the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez will join the list of venues that will appear in the film.
