Río Breogán has reached an agreement to sign Bosnian international forward Edin Atic, 2.01m and 27 years old, who played last season for San Pablo Burgos

Edin Atić (Bugojno, January 19, 1997) was trained in his country at the Kos club and OKK Spars Sarajevo, where he caught the attention of clubs such as Real Madrid, who tried him out in their training projects at the age of 14.

After outstanding performances in international tournaments with the Bosnian national team, he joined AEK Athens in 2015. He subsequently played for KK Mega Bemax (Serbian League and Adriatic League), Igokea (Bosnian League, ABA Ligue and Eurocup.

After a stint at KK Igokea in 2020-21, he signed with Budocnost Montenegrino (Prva A Liga, ABA Liga and Eurocup). In the 2023/24 campaign he returns to Igokea where he averages 10.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 20 minutes of play in the league and 8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in BCL.

In March 2024 he arrives in San Pablo Burgos to have his first experience in Spain.

Edin Atic is a tall forward, very solid in his game, where he stands out in several facets. A versatile team player who can even play as a point guard.

Atic is an international with Bosnia, where he is a teammate of former Celeste Dzanan Musa, and with whose national team he averaged, in the last pre-Olympic tournament played in Poland and Estonia, 8.4 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists per game.
