Carlos Bilardo received a visit this Friday from Ernesto “Tecla” Farías and Miguel Ángel Lemme. The world champion coach in Mexico 86, who has been living with a complicated illness for years, spent the afternoon accompanied by two former Estudiantes, his love club.
“Dear Carlos, how nice to see you again!” Tecla Farías wrote on his Instagram account (@teclafarias80), in addition to publishing a photo of the three of them, with Bilardo – who turned 86 in March – in the middle.
“We went because Tecla told me he wanted to see him”
In conversation with Diario Olé, Lemme gave details of the visit and revealed how Bilardo is doing: “We went because Tecla told me he wanted to see him. Carlos is fine, we went to have a coffee and we came back. We chatted for a while, when the family arrived and we left. All this with the authorization of Daniela (daughter) and Gloria (wife).”
In the same medium, he added: “We talked a little about each thing, we didn’t want to bother because I also had to return to La Plata. I’m still going to see him every week because I love him so much. “I’m going to defend him all my life, so that no one touches Carlos.”
