Ecuador vs. Honduras: the summary of the match
La Tri took a tight and uncomfortable victory against Honduras. He started with clear superiority and got the goal from Jeremy Sarmiento eight minutes into the first half. It seemed like it was going to be a procedure for those led by Sánchez, but the Central Americans responded in spades.. They grabbed the ball more and at 29′, after a dubious penalty that was awarded to Piero Hincapié, they reached the tie at the feet of Bryan Róchez.

The second half didn’t have much football. Everything indicated that 1-1 was going to be the final result, but in the epilogue of the friendly the figure of the match appeared, despite having committed the penalty with which Honduras reached the tie: Hincapié. The former Talleres de Córdoba defender got into the area, received a good cross from Kendry Páez and made it 2-1 with a header for Ecuador’s victory in advance of next weekend’s debut in the Copa América against Venezuela.
