Fortunately, the game itself avoids this boring procedure, although many have not discovered the option.

As we said before, it is not exactly a fun process to press R2 for each object that we have to pick up from the ground, but as in the case of Horizon: Forbidden West, there is an option to do without this mechanic that contributes between little and nothing. The Guerrilla Games game incorporated a function so that Aloy could automatically collect plants for the subsequent crafting of potions, as the Koreans of Shift Up have also done.
To do this we must enter the pause menu and go to Settings, the last section, and we will clearly see the option “Loot items automatically”, which by default appears disabled. You just have to change it to “Activated” so that we can collect all the items simply by passing over them, without having to press a button for each of the hundreds of objects that the enemies will drop during the more than 20 hours that it will take us to complete the adventure.
