About Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!

The anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba makes its debut in virtual board games. We will enjoy events and mini-games with up to four players, both locally and online.

We will roll the dice and try to become the strongest Demon Slayer swordsman. Iconic anime locations such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa will appear as boards in this game.

We will roll the dice to advance along the board. Each board has a daytime period and a nighttime period. During the day, we will prepare for the night with events and mini-games. At night, we will look for the demons to defeat them.

We’ll choose from your favorite Demon Slayer Corps characters, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira. Nezuko appears on the game board as a support character to help the players.

Those who purchase the digital edition on the Nintendo eShop will unlock the following:

  • base game
  • A set of four stamps featuring Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira.
  • Stamps are used for players to communicate within the game and can be used in the “Sweep the Board” game mode.

He Day One patch (detailed below) adds a new board to the game, themed around the Blacksmiths’ Village. Blacksmiths like Haganezuka, Kanamori, and Tecchin are present to help us in various ways. That includes Kotetsu, who has the key to the “Yoriichi Type Zero” mechanical battle dummy. During the night, the powerful demons Gyokko and Hantengu will appear, waiting for the four players who dare to challenge them.

Additionally, there will be two new mini-games available:

  • Food Delivery! – Deliver plates of food to a hungry Mitsuri. We will have to closely monitor Mitsuri’s expressions while she eats. If you make a mistake, they stun you. Whoever delivers the most dishes wins.
  • Mask Match – Find the specific blacksmith mask. The player who finds the most masks wins.

A day one patch (v1.01) is also available, which adds the following:

  • Online functionality (online play).
  • Local wireless functionality (local wireless play).
  • A new virtual game board based on the Blacksmiths’ Village Arc.
  • 2 new mini-games, 2 new boss fights and new player cards and wallpapers.
  • “Player Cards” are in-game profiles that can be customized with a variety of titles and wallpapers, which are then shared with other players locally and online.
  • Other adjustments and bug fixes.
