How to start using Gemini on Android?

This tool is available both in the Android application store, Google Play Store, and through the Google Assistant.

In the latter case, to activate this functionality you can slide your finger from the corner of your cell phone or say ‘Hey Google’. Next, a tab with information about Gemini will appear on your screen.

“Now people will be able to save time, since Gemini will be in charge of collecting relevant information, even if it is in different applications and services,” Google explained.

Please note that many of the Google Assistant voice features will be available through the Gemini app, such as set timers, make calls, and control smart home devices.

This AI model is also visible from the desktop. To do this, you just need to enter Chrome and type @gemini followed by a message in the address bar for it to start running.

In the next weeks, Gemini access will be implemented on iOS directly from the
Google application.
