Xiaomi announced the arrival of its new Series 14 to Chile. This model will seek to mark a milestone in the mobile photography market thanks to the collaboration with Leica, a German optics company, promising to capture the true nature of the human portrait.

The partnership between Xiaomi and Leica, formalized in 2022, allowed the integration of Leica Summilux lenses in the new models. This gives you the opportunity to significantly improve image capture and seeks to consolidate Xiaomi as a world leader in this segment.

The main features of the Xiaomi Series 14
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra brings a professional four-camera setup with focal lengths between 12 and 120 mm. These cameras allow you to perform recordings in 8K format at 30 fps and introduces Movie mode to enable various professional recording options with cinematic practices.
For its part, The standard Xiaomi 14 comes equipped with three cameras, also with optical lenses from Leica. In this device, the focal range reached goes from 14 to 75 mm, with a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP front camera.
Both versions of the Series 14 include the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which incorporates new technologies for better performance. This platform allows an increase in CPU performance by 32% and a decrease in power consumption of 34%, ideal for being able to use the device throughout the day.
The Series 14 smartphones feature the Xiaomi Surge battery management system, which ensures long-lasting performance. The Xiaomi 14 has a 4610mAh battery, supporting 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. While theiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 5000mAh batterycompatible with 90W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
