Thanks to events, it will now be easier to plan meetings directly on WhatsApp, whether it is a virtual meeting or a dinner to celebrate a birthday. Anyone can create an event and others can respond so the entire group knows who will be attending.

Guests can also find the event on the group information page, and those who attend will receive an automatic notification when the date approaches. What are communities?

WhatsApp communities are a tool to encompass and organize within several different groups, but with one or more characteristics in common, according to your interests or needs.

Similarly to Discord or Slack, within a community you can organize several groups that you consider related and the community participants can be divided into their groups according to needs.

For example, if you want to organize several groups related to a school year, you can create a community for that course, and within you create a group for parents and another group for students. Although they are different groups, they will all remain related to each other through the community.

In addition to grouping new groups or others created previously, it is worth remembering that The groups maintain their individual activity, with their respective separate administrators. However, there is the figure of a community creator, who will be able to manage content from all groups and send global messages through a specific group of notices in the community.
